Trusting in God

Over the last couple of weeks I have learned so much about myself.
I have come to realize that my decisions and actions not only affect me but it affects my family.
Not to say that I didn't know all this before, but sometimes it takes a hardship to make you realize it.  My hubby and I do our very best to care and provide for our daughter, it never fails that the moment you think you are a head is the same moment you realize you have just begun.
Over the last month I have learned not only to trust in my hubby knowing that he would never let anything happen to us, but also to trust in the lord.  It's been a hard thing for me to trust.  There has been so much tragedy in my life that sometimes it makes you question.  For me growing up in a home where I was told that church is for loser's and Christian's are nothing but judgmental.  It really makes it hard to believe.
I gave my heart to Jesus 5 years ago in march.  I have loved him and tried my very best to right by him. But still deep down you question, if God really loves you then why must he cause you so much pain.  Why must he make you decide.  I would never deny him and I'm learning to trust him.
Now after having my daughter, I kinda have a better understanding of the love that he has for us.  I would do anything for Isabel, just the same as God would do for me.  But then you think, I cant protect her from everything and she has learn somehow.  If I where to do everything for Isabel how would grow and learn.  She wouldn't and that's when I realized that God is doing the same for me.  IF he was to protect me from tragedy, I wouldn't be a christian, I wouldn't have met my husband and I wouldn't have my beautiful daughter.  I may never understand the plan God has for me and my family,
but i do know that I love him and I will trust in him whole heartily.

Psalm 25:1-3

1 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; 2 in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. 3 No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.

Psalm 28:7

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.

Psalm 31:14

14 But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."

Psalm 37:3

3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

My Future Beauty Queen

It's been such a long time since my last post, but I'm back and ready to
share my lil beauty Queen with you.
We decided last week that we would enter Isabel in the local
county fair baby contest.
And just let me say as much as I love Toddlers and Tiara's, I cound
never see myself doing that to my daughter.
Well I gave in and entered her,
She was such a ham, laughing and waving to everyone.
She was doing so well that I decided to let her walk(not by herself, but holding my fingers)
Well Lil Isabel won 3rd place.  Yay I was so very proud of her.
  Before the show

Music class and and a walk in the park

Yesterday was a beautiful day here in KY!!!
So we decided to go to our local Library music class. We went with Sarah
and Caleb, we met there Brittney and Presley Kate, and Lauren and Max.  Who
I met sunday at church.  Yea for new Mommy friends.  After our music class
which was so much fun and Isabel really enjoyed it.
We talked it up about our babies and all the fun stuff
mommies talk about.  After our hour long talk and feeding
the babies we decided to go for a walk in the park.
It sounded great at the moment but little did we know that our walk would
need up being a 2 mile hike up and down hills pushing our strollers.
I think we all agreed that we are out of shape.
But it was still so much fun.
Here are some pics from our day

Isabel before class, she was so excited

It was so much fun that we have decided to do this weekly!!!

The Day and life of Isabel Reese

I have been very blessed to have a very good sleeper.  Our day usually starts with me getting up at about 8 or 8:30, and then getting ready for our day.  Isabel will wake up between 9 and 10, she eats and then I get her ready, This is when we play sing songs, and practice rolling over.  She will go back down for her nap at about 11 and sleep for 20 mins, this is when I try and get some house work done.  When she wakes we eat lunch and run some errands.  Depending on if we are home she will go dawn for her afternoon 2 hour nap at about 2.  Now its mommy time, and I sometimes will start dinner depending on what we are having.  By 5 Daddy comes home and we all play together.  Sometimes we have church or go visit Nana.  Isabel will take one more nap around 7 or so, then its our bedtime routine.  Bath, story, night time bottle and then its bed by 10!!!!

Tell me about your day!!!!

Happy Friday

Its been a pretty boring day here in the Greear house.  So Isabel and I decided to make the
most it and go for a drive.  We stopped by the mall and did a little shopping then
went to Arby's for lunch.
Not much to do when it's so cold outside. Well after lunch we came home
so Isabel could nap and Mommy could clean, but Stinky aka(isabel) decided she
wasn't sleepy and wanted to play so I decided to put on her favorite show
Baby Mozart!
Tonight I'm going to celebrate my sister's 21st birthday at the Funny Bone,
it's daddies first night alone without Mommy!!  Hope it goes well!!

She is just chillin watching her show!!!!!!

Happy Friday
